2016 // Yhorm

Been working on this piece for a while now. Normally i dont do characters, but this was a fun challange! Its suprisingly hard to get the same dark setting as in the series. All materials and models were made in Cycles render engine and Blender.

The cloth and chainmail pieces were made with a cloth simulation on a human mesh model and the background was done separatly in another blend file and then manually appended and linked to the main scene. Alot of the background objects are photogeometry models that are displaced with a few rock textures to look more dramatic, even though the scene are really dark it does make the overall scene look more combined.

Finally the postprocessing was done in blender and photoshop.
